It's Not Rocket Science: Adding Your Photo to a Post

Let's say you have a hot new blues band photo you took that you'd like to put up on your blog. "How do I do that?" you ask. Well, it's not rocket science.
First you get the photo onto your computer, either by scanning it in or by connecting your digital camera to your computer and uploading it directly. Details of those processes depend on your computer set up and your camera/scanner, which your instruction manuals can help you with.

Once you have the photo, here are the steps:

Open the blog window on your page (Add Blog Post)

Fill in your title

Click on the rectangular "Add a Photo" box, third from the end

Click "Browse"

Navigate to where you put your photo, often My Pictures or the desktop

(If you don't know the name, see if you have an icon with a window with 6 squares in it and if so, click on it. Choose "Thumbnails" to view the actual pictures. Scroll down until you locate your photo. Click on it.)

Click on "Open"

When it goes back to the Image box, click on "Add".

Type in any desired text and remember to Preview and then Publish Post.
There, that wasn't so hard! Feeling better about this computer stuff?
Tune in next time for "But I
