About Me:
I grew up in southern California,OC area, and started playing bass the summer before my first year of high school in1962.It was all upright in those days ,playing for all kinds of function at the school.I was hired by my music teachers for gigs they had around town, gaining lots of experience in different styles of music. After graduation in 1966 ,i played niteclubs for a few years and then, through a good friend and fellow musician,I got the call to audition for Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers. I made it in and spent six months on the road with Bill and a ten piece band, doing stints in
Vegas,Tahoe, and some major parks like Six Flags,Disney,Knotts' Berry Farm, and other large venues. It was the last half of 1971 and a great learning ,not to to mention eye opening time for me.
I played some more road gigs after that with a couple groups and backed up comedian for a couple of years.
Long story short,I've lived in Bend since 2001 and have been busier musically here than anywhere else before.
I'm currently playing with the Bond Brothers as my main group, however I do other types of gigs around town including JP&THE SOUL SEARCHERS ,SMITH&HAYES,JIM CAJACOB,etc.,plus both Blues
jams,Grovers and Northside.
I use WARWICK ,5 STRING,IBANEZ FRETLESS, and an electric upright by NS Design through a Carvin stack 410+18,plus SWR AMPS.

SEE YOU AT THE JAMS! LONG LIVE THE BLUES!!

Hi Bob,
I'm playing bass in a band with Joel Coodley. He mentioned he had moved from Redmond and I asked him if he knew you. I saw you play with Honey Roy band a few years ago, and talked to you between sets. Small world, eh? I come out to the Bend area a few times a year. Would be great to hook up with you next time I'm out your way. Likewise, drop me an email if you come to the Portland area.
take care,
Tom

Goooood vibes last night, Bob!

What's this thing you're doing for Relay for Life? When you get the details, why not write a blog post here ... ?

Thanks for coming to the meeting last night, and for the music :) It's very encouraging to see the good turnout we had.
