- About Me:
- I am a 51 year old, married, and believe it or not, a new dad to a now 22 month old daughter. I had cancer a few years back, afterwards I went to college for the first time, and am now at OSU in a teacher program. I've done all my college online. I play Mr. Mom and go to school, that's about it.
Being a dad is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. I love it. The only down side is, it has drastically cut into my guitar practice time, for say...22 months.
I like many styles of music, but rockin, sweaty, soulfull Blues touches my soul. The stuff I am listening to right know is, Tinsley Ellis-Storm Warning, John "Juke" Logan-Juke Rhythm, Rhett Tyler-Live at Manny's Car Wash, Sleepy Ray-Where the Highway Turns, and Buddy Guy-Blues Singer for a bit of old style acoustic blues.
I am greatful for the folks who have put this site together. When school is out for summer, and I can get my chops up, I'll come to some of the Jams and meet some of 'you all.'

Sounding Board is where we are discussing what steps to take to get this Blues Society thing going and we're planning our first in person COBS meeting for March 16th (Sunday) around 6:30 with an acoustic jam afterward
I just created a new group called Sounding Board - please join :)
We gonna get this thang rollin' soon. Get a meeting together and some music, some outsiders and real board with members and everything! Keep in touch and try to get time for workin' on your chops!
