I discovered the blues back in 1969 and soon realized that blues is the root of all that is good and funky. The rock age was in full swing and the blues influence was obvious. My early influence came from Jr. Wells, Charlie Musselwhite, Canned Heat and the Allmen bros. As the music evolved from rock to funk to disco to punk I held on to the music I felt inside. I play trumpet, conga's and harmonica. Former bands include the Olney St. blues band, Soul Patch, Hollis and the Olivers and Roadhouse.
Great job in promoting the Blues scene here In good old Bend! Keep up the good work and thanks for the invite to become a COBS member.

To all COBS members, thanx everyone that showed up at the jam. It was a magical blues nite where every band on stage did an outstanding job playing and singing. Hope to see you soon. charly
