Blues Quarter performance dates for the month of Jan. 2008.

Hop aboard the blues train! These five veteran musicians will take you
on a tour of a broad musical landscape of Blues, R&B and Soul. They put
their own spin on classics from the Jump Blues of Louis Jordan to the
contemporary styling’s of Robin Ford, Tommy Castro and Tab Benoit. The
tracks swing through Motown and Kansas City, then straight on to New
Orleans for a spicy gumbo of infectious danceable grooves.

THURSDAY NIGHT BLUES JAM


This weekly event at the Northside Bar & Grill is hosted by Gnarly Charly and the Northside Allstars. Sign-up for the "Spirit of the Blues" open Jam is 7:00 p.m. Showtime is at 7:30.

Blues Quarter's Jan. 24, 25 & 26 Gig @ The River House has been rescheduled do to remodeling of the restaurant. Y'all come out and see us one week later on Jan. 31 & Feb. 1 & 2.

FRONT PORCH ACOUSTIC JAM & open mic at Grover's Pub, hosted by Ozzie G (Garth Osborn) kicks off tonight, Sunday January 20 at 6:30 p.m. I will play primarily blues material, with some other stuff here and there. I'm hoping for at least a couple musicians to show up and get this thing started right.

So after the football game, head down to Grovers and enjoy some live acoustic blues by one of Central Oregon's talented unknowns...Ozzie G.

This will continue every Sunday thereafter, so come out and support blues at Grover's Pub...Central Oregon's "Home of the Blues."
