Y'all got to check this guy out. He goes by the name of Walter Tore. Can't say he is my best friend or nothin' like that. It goes like this. I met him on....

The Blind Mans Blues Forum

As it turns out he lived about twenty miles from me in California. He invited me to a small gig. We kind of hit it off with mutual interests. I recorded a couple of his gigs and was invited to a couple of his party's and to his house a couple of times. Then I moved up here. I know I'm sounding kinda like who knows who ne ner ne ner thing. The real deal is this. What an honer to know this person. This guy has met or played with everyone who has ever played the blues. He really has led a "Blues Man" life. This guy can play the blues like you wouldn't believe. You got to dig what Walter does. He does the one man band thing to perfection. Does it live, and keeps his audience totally entertained. He plays a kick drum with his left foot, snare/hat with his right, guitar, harmonica, and sings all at the same time to perfection. He makes up spontaneous lyric according to a subject or theme that he thinks up on the spot. All this to a pure Delta sound that cuts like a knife is smooth as butter , and soothes the soul all at the same time. I just wish I had gotten to spend more time with Walter so maby some of his magic could have rubbed off on me. Here are the links to his web site and Soundclick site. You can review his "Spontobeat" sound on the Soundclick site. Remember the recordings are live and he is playing all of the instruments at the same time....Amazing.
