Today was a very sad day. Today we bid farewell to our friend and mentor, Ronnie Smith. Quite the experience, the Native American service....what I saw today was a lot people who really loved that little man and I for one am one of them. The other thing I saw was people that had their hearts wide open. I saw and experienced things that I am eternally grateful for because today I found peace because Ronnie is finally at peace. There were others that found peace too, it seemed that the peace was contagious, that forgiveness was possible and that voids could be overcome. Ronnie Smith was who made these things possible today. I sure am gonna miss him. There were so many songs left to sing - but as a wise woman said to me today, there were so many songs that we did get to sing. Ah, to hear Green Onions just one more time - I guess I'll just have wait to hear him play that grand pipe organ in the sky for now - Keep posted there will be a memorial to include our local community within the next few weeks. We're going to get it organized and announce it soon. Until then, you are all in my thoughts...I may not be the favorite of everyone or anyone, but know that I care about all of you and that if push came to shove I would always be here for y'all. Take care & God Bless!
